36th PASLI General Assembly and National Conference: Envisioning the 21st Century School Library




The Philippine Association of School Librarians, Inc. (PASLI) in cooperation with Bicol College, will conduct its 36th General Assembly and National Conference entitled “Envisioning the 21st Century School Library” on April 23-25, 2014 at the Regional Education Learning Center (RELC), Rawis, Legazpi City, Albay. 

The seminar-workshop aims to help administrators, professional librarians and non-professionals working in both public and private school libraries to:

1. prepare the foundations for the establishment of a 21st century school library;
2. upgrade their knowledge and skills in performing library-related tasks and services consonant to the information needs of the K-12 curriculum;
3. update themselves on the latest trends and goals for competitive and cooperative librarianship as envisioned in the ASEAN 2015;
4. observe and promote love of the Philippine culture and history.

Registration fees of Php 3,900 for live-in participants and Php 3,700 for live-out participants will cover expenses for board and lodging, handouts, certificate  and other administrative expenses. Reservation is required to ensure a slot.
